Filter bubbles

  I agree with him. I think it is annoying that our freedom is taken away without our knowing. It's a lot like TiVo suggestions which I think is unnecessary because I know what I like and/or want to record or in this case look at on the Internet. I want to be in control somewhat of what I see and I don't want a machine making my decisions. I also think it is beneficial that people see new things they don't know or would necessary look at.

One dead in attic

My favorite essay from one dead in attic was the one when he made did the grill out for the workers. It was interesting that they got to do something for the people helping them. I related because I would want to do the same thing. I thought it proved as a kind of victory because they were actually hosting the workers instead of being helpless which he had talked earlier a out hating.
